Tuesday, November 25, 2008/ 7:38 AM
Dear 6Cians of 2008,
I hope you have thought through carefully and selected your 6 secondary school choices.
All the best to you and hope you will get your top choice. ^_^
Just to let you know that I am heartened that all of you did well for English!
We have 5 A*, 36 A and 1 B for English PSLE. ^_^ ^_^ ^_^
As for overall aggregate score, some of you did exceptionally well whereas some of you did not perform as expected.
Please do not be disheartened. This is not the end.
In fact, I want you to know that your path has only just begun.
Your journey ahead will be full of challenges, tests and experiences.
Please persevere and continue to strive hard. You will definitely see the light!
Learning transcends boundaries. Education is not only for the future, but also for your intellectual capacity, moral values and principles as a person.
Determination is the key to success so don't ever give up!
I sincerely wish you all the best to your future endeavours! ^_^
Take good care of yourselves.
P.S: I know I still owe you the class profile booklet. Give me some time. I will let you know when it is ready. Sorry for any inconvenience caused.

Dear 6C pupils,
Time is running out.
However, I am extremely worried and exasperated when I marked your worksheets. =(
I am sure you can do better.
You need to be more careful and learn from your past mistakes.
If you are bored, please visit
eNCee portal>6C Announcement and try out the grammar quizzes instead of wasting your time online.
Please. This is the last leap.
Help yourself.
You know you can do it.Labels: Mrs Lai

PSLE Prelim is here!
Saturday, August 16, 2008/ 11:17 PM
I am sure everyone is having a whale of a time after the PSLE Oral on Friday.
Yes. Please go ahead and let your hair down, for just these two days.
Get yourself ready for the battle on Monday as Prelim is here~!
Please note that English Prelim Paper 1 and 2 is on
21 August 2008 (which is this coming Thursday!)
Yet, we still have quite a number of issues to tackle on:
- Composition (Everything that I've mentioned)
- Situational Writing (Too many grammar mistakes. Failed to meet the 6 content points)
- Paper 2: MCQ (Everyone should aim less than 3 or 5 mistakes)
- Paper 2: Synthesis & Transformation- Paper 2: Comprehension Cloze (
- Paper 2: Open-Ended Comprehension (YOUR WEAKEST SECTION OF ALL!)
Don't worry.
You can do it! (as long as you listen and put in effort!)Labels: Mrs Lai

P.S.L.E ticker
Saturday, July 19, 2008/ 1:53 AM
I think this blog needs a ticker to count down the days to P.S.L.E
Just added one at the bottom of the page.
If you cannot remember how close you are from PSLE, you may want to refer to the ticker.
And your palpitating heart may tick, tick, tick away......
P.S.L.E is ALREADY HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Let's start the battle and fight on! DETERMINATION is the KEY to SUCCESS!Hang on. =)

Updates by Mrs Lai (1)
Wednesday, July 9, 2008/ 1:48 AM
I am feeling rather unwell since the start of term 3.
Still, I tried to come to school everyday as my P6 pupils will be sitting for their PSLE really soon.
But today, I have succumbed to the flu bug.
Visited the doctor. Took some medicine.
I guess I just need more rest.
While recuperating, something strikes me suddenly.
I recall Gerald's reaction when I showed the class the updated class blog.
"Wah. Wayne wanna curse us ah.." Gerald commented.
Little did he know that it was Valerie who had changed the blogskin.
For now, Wayne and Valerie will be our official 6C blog webmasters.
Coming back to the topic of blogskin, it is a job well done actually.
Kudos to Valerie and her helpers (if there's any).
I thought the current blogskin is more suitable for a class blog.
Perhaps, the "F' grade doesn't seem motivating?
Hmmmmmm.................
Hence, I edited the blogskin.
Tada! From "F' to "A*"!
That's what 6C should achieve for P.S.L.E! ^_^
Time is running out.
Let's do our best!
